In 1979 I had the opportunity to do a metal smithing apprenticeship and have been producing jewelry and hair accessories ever since.

- Originally from Pennsylvania, I moved to Arkansas in 1975 to become part of the "back to the land" movement. During that period of five years, I helped to build my own dwelling, lived without electricity, owned and operated a natural foods store and vegetarian restaurant.
